You might notice we’ve had a bit of a site redesign in honor of the release of Wordpress 3.0 and my current insomnia. If you have any ideas about how you would like to see the top menus structured, let me know.

It has been pointed out that our tagline “bicoastal, bimodal, bionic” isn’t really correct any longer as we no longer have anyone representing on the west coast. So, in an effort to keep things fresh, let’s update our tagline and header. Feel free to leave suggestions for either in the comments.

I like to do multiple related photos into one post instead of making them different posts. It’s just my preference, and I like that it concentrates comments in one place instead of having them split up over several posts. Lottie asked about this today so I thought I’d explain how to do it.

But before doing stacked photos you have to make a change to the posting layout (else they won’t be directly over each other). You only have to do this once, after that stacked photos is easy.

1) Log in to flickr.
2) Go to http://www.flickr.com/account/blogs/?from=extend
3) Click Layout link to the right of hevelonian.
4) You should see several lines of code in window*. Replace everything there with the code below.

*If you don’t see code in a window, instead have a bunch of different sized dogs, click the leftmost 500px dog, then customize, then replace that code.

5) Click Preview/Save, etc.

So, once you have that set up, to post multiple images, do something like this:

1) Open both images in separate tabs.
2) On which ever you want to be on top, click “Share This -> Blog It -> Hevelonian”.
3) Before hitting the POST ENTRY button, switch to the other tab.
4) Click “Share This -> Grab the HTML”. Copy the HTML code there.
5) Switch back to the original tab, paste in that code to the comment window and click POST ENTRY.
